Non-unifom day and Father Georges

As part of their R.E. topic, Year 3 and 4 are learning about how Chrisitians support the community. Over the years, we have supported St. Giles Church and Father Georges. Father Georges works with different communities in Madagascar. All of his projects aim to help the communities become self-sufficent.

In the past, we have raised money for water pumps, worms and manure. This year, they are raising money to buy egg-laying hens. The cost of one hen is £5.

On Friday 25th September, we are holding a whole school non-uniform day. We would like children to donate £1. All money raised will be given to Father Georges. Any spare 'shrapnel' is also welcome.

Thank you in advance
