Work of the week - one piece of excellent work chosen every Friday
Please read 3 times a week and record this in your planner for a reading token.
Merits - given for good work, homework, spellings and dated planners.
This term's homework will be based on maths. You will be given a task to do every week about what we've been doing in school.
If you want to do any extra topic or science homework for extra merits (only after you have done the English and maths of course!!!) you can! Just research about our topic or science subjects - Good to be Green or What Plants Need.
This term our topic is... GOOD TO BE GREEN!
We are going to learn about reducing our carbon footprint and food miles, renewable energy, deforestation, endangered animals, recycling and saving water.
This term we are looking at the author Dick King-Smith - in particular his two books The Hodgeheg and The Sheep-Pig.
This term we are going to learn about place value, addition and subtraction, measuring, subtracting, fractions, multiplication and division and using money.
This term in science our topic is What Plants Need. We are learning about where plants grow best and what they need to grow well.
