Year 4/5G

We are having our class Zoom Show and Tell on Wednesday 17th June. It would be great to see as many faces as possible! The times and details are now on Parent Hub and a text will also be sent out to parents. This is a great opportunity for children to catch up with class mates and let others know what they have been up to during lock down! smiley

REWARD ASSEMBLY

We have been lucky enough this term to have had a visit from the illustrator Liz Million! We loved learning how to draw faces and animals!

Our class enjoyed our Science of Sound Enterprise Event where we showed off our Science skills, explaining how sound is created and how we can alter the pitch and volume of sound!

The children have enjoyed learning how Britain has changed since 1948! Here are a few photos from our topic day when we dressed up as people from the 50's. 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.....

Walking in a winter wonderland performance #musicisalanguagethewholeworldspeaks

We sang "walking in a winter wonderland" to develop our performing and singing skills. We were very nervous but we did a wonderful job and we did everybody extremely proud.
We are learning all about Africa this term. We enjoyed our African day where we created our own African mask and tried playing some African drums.
Our class enjoyed our trip to Pickford House Museum and Art Gallery. The children enjoyed meeting "Victor" who taught us about air raids precautions and let us experience an "air raid" by sheltering in an underground bunker. We made gas mask boxes and Anderson shelters.
