As the new Headteacher, I feel incredibly proud to be joining a school that sits at the heart of such a strong and supportive community. Since arriving, I have been struck by the warmth, kindness and potential that exists within our school. Most importantly, I have been inspired by our wonderful children, whose enthusiasm and individuality make Killamarsh Junior School such a special place.
At Killamarsh, we believe every child deserves the very best opportunities to achieve, thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning. Our aim is to create a school where children feel safe, valued and challenged; a place where high expectations are matched by care, encouragement and support.
As Headteacher, I am committed to ensuring that every decision we make is centred on what is best for our children. Together, we will build a culture where children are encouraged to be ambitious, resilient and respectful, whilst developing the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for the future.
Strong relationships between school and home are essential to a child's success. I look forward to working closely with parents, carers, staff, governors and the wider community as we continue to develop and strengthen our school for the benefit of all our children.
