Our children looked amazing today in their Celt or Britain since 1948 costumes. Thankyou so much for the effort you all put it. We carried out a range of activites during the day and really brought these two periods of history to life.
Tempus Fugit Company have sent an apology for double booking the event and we are currently rescheduling. We will let you know the new date as soon as possible.
Today we were joined by Gill and Margaret from the NSPCC. With the help of their mascot, Buddy, we learnt about 'Speak Out, Stay Safe'. We discussed trusted adults children could speak to and learnt about Childline.
Childline is open 24 hours a day and is a free number - 0800 1111
There is also a website https://www.childline.org.uk/
Anit-bullying week will be held between the 13th - 17th of November. On Monday, we are asking children to come to school wearing odd socks to support this year's theme of Promoting difference and Equality.
All different, All equal!
We really enjoyed making Guys as part of our Enterprise Event. It was a great way to demonstrate TEAMWORK, CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION and EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. We also looked at the history behind Bonfire night and the British Value of Equality and Democracy.
We raised an incredible £81.43 towards the School Crossing Patrol.
Thanks to everyone who donated newspapers and clothing and Mrs Bright for taking most of our guys.
A big thank you also goes to everyone who cam and donated a 'penny' for the guy. All money raised will go to the School Crossing Patrol.
