This term we will be writing a diary entry and a newspaper report, from the perspective of a scientist who has made a breakthrough in medicine and found a way to combat disease.

Maths
This term in maths we are starting by looking at place value. Children will be focusing on the value of digits, comparing numbers and rounding.

History
We will be learning about how medicine has changed through time and using chronology skills to compare modern day medicines to those from the Victorian era. We will also use the local area to consolidate our knowledge of medicine and disease and will be taking at trip to the plague village of Eyam, in the Peak District.
