In Science, we will be continuing our work on light and shadows.

In Art, we will be creating our own mosaics using a variety of media. In DT Food Technology, we will be designing, creating and evaluating pizzas.

In P.E., we will finish our swimming lessons and then cover gymnastics.

Our R.E. topic is 'What do people believe about God?' and our PSHE topic is 'Healthy Me'. In Computing, we will be learning about animation.

British Science Week 2023

The theme for British Science Week this year is CONNECTIONS.

Miss Gelder from Wales High School created a video lesson for us. She choose the activity BRIDGE BLUNDER from the Primary Activity British Science Week pack. This activity is designed to get you thinking about the connections between weights, forces and measures.

We tested the bridges by adding pebbles. We made a bridge with paper and noticed that it was strong enough to hold the weight of one pebble. Every child/group managed to improve and strengthen their design.

Our winning bridge was made by Olly. It held all of the pebbles and didn't bend at all!
