Maths
This half term, we will be looking at Addition and Subtraction. Children will consolidate learning from Year 4 using written formal methods to add and subtract. We will build on our rounding skills from term 1, to help calculate mentally and will use inverse operations to check answers. We will also be reasoning and problem solving, using bar models to represent problems.
Topic
Our topic for this half term, is Islamic Civilisations.
