Forest school is an opportunity for your child to experience nature and the outdoor environment in a safe, secure and hands on way.
What do we do at Forest Schools?
Children have the opportunity to lead their own learning with the guidance and support of the Forest School Leader.
Children will :
- Build dens
- Climb, swing and balance in the trees
- Learn about conservation and sustainability
- Sing songs and tell stories
- Create woodland crafts and wild art
- Develop life long skills in risk management, team-work and communication
- Identify plants and animals
- Use a range of tools
- Build and maintain fires
