Royal Mail 'Heroes' Stamp Design Competition

On Friday 28th May, we are taking part in the Royal Mail 'Heroes' Stamp Design Competition. Royal Mail want to honour the work of the real-life heroes of the pandemic who have worked tirelessly to keep the country moving during the pandemic.

Children will design a stamp in school. Two designs  will be selected from each class and entered into the competition. A special panel of judges will select eight winning stamps and these will be sent to Her Majesty The Queen, before they are printed and distrubuted. Winners will receive up to £1,000 in high street vouchers and schools will recieve up to £1,000 in cash.

We would also like children to dress up on the day. They could come dressed as NHS frontline workers, supermarket workers, school teachers or support staff, delivery drivers, public transport workers, vaccine scientists, military personnel, emergency services, cleaners or even Captain Sir Tom Moore and many more...

We are looking forward to this event.
