For our Science topic 'Living things and their habitats', we challenged the children to complete the Bronze RSPB Wild Challenge. Each class had to complete three activities to Help Nature and three to Experience Nature.
Congratulations to Y3/4D, Y3/4NG, Y5A and Y5/6GB for achieving the Bronze award. We are aiming for all classes to achieve their Bronze award by the end of the school year and maybe even some silver awards...

Our Easter Egg bunting has been displayed at St. Giles.
We have had an amazing morning with Alan from www.birdmandisplays.com. We have met Alaska (Bald Eagle), Sparky (Barn Owl) and Sybil (Harris Hawk).
It was a great addition to our Science work on Living Things, Habitats, Evolution and Inheritance
The children have had a fantastic day today working with local artist, James Brunt.

Thank you to everyone who has kindly donated to Father Georges’ Harvest Appeal. We are delighted to announce that Killamarsh Junior School has raised £140.10 which will go towards helping Father Georges and his small community build their shed to house their heifers and feed the workers.
Many thanks once again and we hope you have a lovely half term,

The children have taken part in a whole school art project based on the piece of music 'The Carnival of the Animals.' Each class studied a different artist and created a sketchbook page. They used this inspiration to create their own unique animal sculpture.
